Our Holiday Flags Subscription Service!
The University Area Houston Rotary Club invites you to join your neighbors in proudly displaying the American Flag in front of your home. This program gives residents of our community the opportunity to show their pride and love for our country.
For an annual subscription price, we will place a large 3×5-foot American Flag or Texas State Flag on 8 foot poles in front of your house on major national holidays.

Presidents Day
Monday – Feb. 20, 2023

Memorial Day
Monday – May 29, 2023

Independence Day
Tuesday – 4th of July 2023

Veterans Day

The proceeds from the flag program enable us to fund a variety of health, humanitarian, and youth service programs throughout our local community and the broader world. This is our primary annual fundraising program and we appreciate your community support.
Volunteers will place the flags you order in your yard 4 to 5 days before each holiday and we remove the flags 2 to 3 days after each holiday. You can sign up for our flag program at any time throughout the year.
Your support helps us fund building the local Rotary Firefighter’s Home in partnership with M.D. Anderson. This provides a place where firefighters and their families can stay while in Houston being treated at the Texas Medical Center for cancers acquired by exposure to carcinogens in their work.
Your donations also go to support the End Polio Now program providing free polio vaccinations. End Polio Now has helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries. We have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide and we won’t stop until we end the disease for good.
